We can’t stand spam.
Who can? You have better things to do with your life than deal with the underbelly of the internet.
In order to block commenting that has no relevance to anything, World of Rail utilises Akisimet to block spam. This will greatly reduce or even completely eliminate the comment and trackback spam you get on your site. If one does happen to get through, simply mark it as “spam” on the moderation screen and Akismet will learn from the mistakes.
Steps to a spam free world
Obtain your Akisimet API key by registering as a user at (http://en.wordpress.com/signup/)
Once you have this, login into World of Rail, in your dashboard select the link that appears in the following quote:”Akismet is almost ready. You must enter your WordPress.com API key for it to work.”
Follow the steps and all should be good.
